I’m getting LOUD to support children with hearing loss.

Hi all! 

Join us this October as recognise and support LOUD shirt day. LOUD shirt day is to help support children like our little William who has a hearing loss. 
For those that don’t know, William was born with sensorineural severe/ profound hearing loss due to congenital CMV. William was provided with hearing aids at just 3 months old, and now at 1 years old has just been approved for cochlear surgery. 

Thanks to Hear and Say, William has started early intervention to assist in developing his listening and spoken language. This journey has definitely not been easy, but having early intervention services and specialist care has assisted William in developing these skills, and what a world of difference this has made to both William and our little family. 

By getting behind our LOUD shirt day fundraiser, you are helping Hear and Say continue there incredible work so that children like William can thrive and reach their full listening and spoken language potential. Every donation big or small means so much.

Turn up the volume for kids with hearing loss! Join Loud Shirt Day on Friday 17th October and wear your brightest shirt to make a difference. Get loud in any way you like - as a family, at work, with your friends and community group or at school.

1 in 1,000 Babies in Australia and New Zealand are born with a permanent hearing loss.
1 in 300 School-age children require assistance because of permanent hearing loss.
