I’m getting LOUD to support children with hearing loss.
Did you know?1 in 6 Australians and New Zealanders are impacted by hearing loss – a figure set to rise to 1 in 4 by 2060.
1 in 1,000 Babies in Australia and New Zealand are born with a permanent hearing loss.
1 in 300 School-age children require assistance because of permanent hearing loss.
Please support me by donating online to help me reach my fundraising goal. Your support will help Hear and Say provide the vital services and support for children to hear, listen and speak.
The Aramac Loud Shirt Day BBQ breakfast is being held on Friday 17 October 2025. Like previous years, this is an event that the entire Central Western Queensland community supports.
We are forever grateful for the amazing support that Hear and Say has given to our family. Our daughter, Emily, who is 13 this year was born with a permanent hearing loss. She gets to live her life to the very fullest after being blessed with bilateral cochlear implants.
Let’s get LOUD to raise much-needed awareness and funds to give children with hearing loss the opportunity to thrive!

Grammie is so proud of her eldest granddaughter Emmy, from birth to now nearly 13 years old. Also to my beautiful daughter in law Kerryn and my son Sam. Who has made everything possible in life for Emmy. It’s been tough at times, but Hear and Say have been there every step of the way. So thank you from the bottom of my heart 💜💜
