Can:Do 4Kids

I’m getting LOUD to support children with hearing loss.

In Australia approximately 1 in 1000 newborn babies are born with a hearing loss.

Your generous donation this Loud Shirt Day this will enable Can:Do 4Kids to continue delivering specialised services for these children.

This includes participation in giving them access to the Tiny Tots early intervention group program and vital audiology support ensures that the children don’t fall behind their peers, and their families have support from the early stages of diagnoses.

Please support me and let’s get LOUD to raise much needed awareness and funds to give children with hearing loss the opportunity to thrive!

Our why..

Thursday 18th Sep
Our beautiful youngest boy Morgan was born with profound bilateral hearing loss caused by the CMV virus. This means, without his cochlear implants he has no access to sound. I’m sure you can imagine the overwhelming world this thrust us into when all we expected was to live in our newborn bubble.

In a world completely unknown we felt lost and scared.

Morgan is thriving, his first and main language being Auslan and now he is accepting his devices hopefully he may develop some spoken language too.

Any chance to raise awareness for these amazing kids and support anyone else going through the tough times we will take.

Morgan is being raised as a part of a strong and proud community, a community who aren’t afraid to get loud to support one another.

So raise your voices, raise your hands, and raise awareness. 🤟
