Hearing loss is the most common condition diagnosed at birth in Australia and 1 in 300 children have permanent hearing loss by 5 years old. Half of these children receive no specialist support and are in danger of being left behind.

Wednesday 1st OctToday, I am the proudest mum of the most confident, kind-hearted, funny, strong, and fart-loving boy you’ll ever meet.
A boy who now talks underwater and lights up every room he walks into. 💙
Liam is going to continue doing amazing things.
I couldn’t imagine him without his hearing aids—they’re a part of him, a part of us, and a powerful reminder of how far we’ve come.
To the incredible and humble teams at The Shepherd Centre Wollongong have helped shape this journey and given Liam and myself the tools to thrive 🦻
