The following terms and conditions refer to NextSense fundraising activities.
Compliance
-

The fundraising activity must be self-funded. NextSense will not be held liable for any losses or expenses incurred, including cancellation for any reason. Funds raised are solely for the purpose communicated to donors and in alignment with the mission and values of NextSense.
-
The event organiser must take all reasonable steps to ensure expenses do not exceed a fair and reasonable proportion of the total proceeds raised from the event.
-
Financial, public liability and public safety are all the responsibility of the fundraising event organiser. Fundraisers are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits or licenses required for their fundraising activities.
-
Fundraisers may not engage in door-to-door solicitation or telemarketing.
-
Fundraisers must ensure compliance with relevant child safety and protection legislation. If children are participating in or attending the event, organisers are responsible for ensuring appropriate duty of care and supervision.
Media, Public Relations and use of the NextSense logo
-
Fundraisers may use the name, logo, and other branding materials of NextSense solely in connection with approved fundraising events and activities. All uses of NextSense’s branding materials must be pre-approved by email to fundraising@nextsense.org.au and outlined to the NextSense fundraising team before they are used publicly. This includes, but is not limited to, digital materials, collateral with the NextSense logo and name, or press releases.
-
The use of the NextSense name and logo is not transferable or assignable to third parties and is limited to the event for which they were approved.
-
The NextSense name and logo may not be used in any way that suggests or implies endorsement of any product, service, political party, or agenda, or in connection with any content that is derogatory, defamatory, obscene, unlawful, or otherwise detrimental to the NextSense brand.
-
Your fundraising activity may not be promoted as an official NextSense event; however, it may be described as a fundraising event that proudly supports NextSense.
Social Media
-
NextSense may share details of your event and names of attendees via our social media and printed publications. When creating an event page on Facebook, please be sure to acknowledge your event is ‘in support of NextSense’ and not ‘hosted by NextSense’.
-
To the best of your ability, ensure that inappropriate images, comments or content are not posted on social media platforms. If necessary, remove any unsuitable content. Remember to use #NextSense and #LoudShirtDay in your posts!
