How do I ask people for donations?
People donate because they are asked – so don’t be afraid of asking! Tell your supporters why the cause is important to you and remind them that every dollar counts – every dollar will go towards supporting those with hearing loss. Many workplaces also offer dollar matching, so it’s worth asking your boss if they will do this. Also, don't be afraid to follow up on ask. We all live busy lives. Someone might have every intention of donating to you but it has slipped their mind, so a simple reminder won't go astray.

What is Loudest Town?
This October, why not get your local community on board and turn your town LOUD for kids with hearing loss? Since 2019, the honour of being named LOUDEST TOWN has been hotly contested, and we expect the same in 2024.
To be named LOUDEST Town in 2025, you need to do the following.
- Register for Loud Shirt Day for free.
- Tick the box that you are taking part in LOUDEST Town.
- Share your fundraising page with members of your town/community and ask then to get on board.
The town that raises the most funds on its Loud Shirt Day fundraising page by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025, will take out the title.
