Shelford Gets LOUD for Kids with Hearing Loss!
Every year, the Shelford team dusts off our loudest, brightest and craziest outfits for a cause that is incredibly close to our hearts.
We come together for Loud Shirt Day to raise funds and awareness for children living with hearing loss and the families supporting them.
For us, this one is personal.
We know families whose children have received life-changing support through Telethon Speech & Hearing, so we've seen firsthand just how much the right support can mean, not only for a child, but for their parents and everyone around them.
That's why every year, we go a little crazy for this one.
Last year, with the incredible support of our friends, families, trades, suppliers and wider Shelford community, we raised more than $70,000.
This year, we're setting our sights even higher:
$80,000+
And if you know our Managing Director John, you'll know he won't be sitting quietly hoping we get there.
He'll donate himself. He'll rally the Shelford team. And yes… he'll start ringing and hassling his mates to dig deep too!
Because John & Shelford genuinely believes that everyone can make a difference, and there's something pretty special about bringing people together to be part of something bigger than themselves.
That's really what Loud Shirt Day has become for us.
It's not just one crazy day in October.
It's our team, our families, our friends and our community coming together to help give WA children with hearing loss access to support that can make a life-changing difference.
So we're asking you to get behind us again.
