Here are some helpful things you can do when talking to a deaf or hard of hearing person.
*Say your friend's name or tap them on the shoulder.
*Face your friend when you are talking.
*Find a quiet place to talk to your friend.
*Don't say "never mind" if your friend doesn't hear you. Try again!
