Hearing loss is the most common condition diagnosed at birth in Australia and 1 in 300 children have permanent hearing loss by 5 years old. Half of these children receive no specialist support and are in danger of being left behind.

Why I raise funds
Saturday 13th Sep When I first learned that one of my children had hearing loss, it was confronting. The most challenging part was realizing how deeply it affected so many areas of his life.“I raise funds for Loud Shirt Day to support children with hearing loss and their families. The cause is personal to me, as I’ve seen firsthand how hearing loss impacts daily life. Contributing to this event helps provide vital resources, therapy, and opportunities, ensuring children can communicate, connect, and thrive.”
