The Hearing House New Zealand

I’m getting LOUD to support children with hearing loss!

The Hearing House  is an Auckland-based charity that delivers a range of services and programmes to kiritaki (clients) from Cape Reinga to Taupō.

Through its passionate and dedicated teams of audiologists, specialised speech language therapists, dedicated counsellor and support staff, The Hearing House delivers a range of services and programmes to assist babies, children and adults with cochlear implants as they learn to listen and communicate, creating a strong, inclusive community of care.

As a charity, The Hearing House relies on government funding, fundraising, and donations to deliver its vital work. This includes running outreach clinics in regional areas, operating its Mobile Hearing Clinic to reach isolated communities, and offering extra support through initiatives like the Cochlear Implant Repair Fund — as well as helping it cover day-to-day running costs.

Let’s get LOUD to raise much needed awareness and funds to ensure The Hearing House can continue to provide specialised listening and spoken language therapy to its clients with cochlear implants, and ensure they have access to lifetime support.

Supporting our Tamariki Who Are Deaf or Hearing Impaired: Loud Shirt Day in Aotearoa

Tuesday 2nd Sep
We’re proud to support Loud Shirt Day, raising awareness and funds for tamariki in Aotearoa who are deaf or hearing impaired. By donating, we help provide vital resources like cochlear implants, speech therapy, and family support — giving every child the chance to find their voice, build confidence, and thrive. Wear your brightest shirt, spread the word, and join us in backing this important kaupapa.
