Let’s get LOUD to empower kids with hearing loss to connect, communicate and thrive in hearing world!Hearing loss is the most common condition diagnosed at birth in Australia and 1 in 300 children have permanent hearing loss by 5 years old. Half of these children receive no specialist support and are in danger of being left behind.

Friday 25th SepGet LOUD for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Kids and their Families and to Support the amazing work that The Shepherd Centre does!
I have been personally taking a part in this Event for over 10 years to raise much needed funds to support the great work that The Shepherd Centre does for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children and their Families.
I have benefited from their programs as a young child, enabling myself to lip read and use communication skills through out my life with a Hearing Loss with Hearing Devices.
In 2020 I was the Alumni Ambassador for LOUD SHIRT DAY!
In a professional and personal level I have been involved with the Shepherd Centre through Alumni and Local Centre Events.
I’m passionate about this cause and I look forward to see everyone LOUD on Friday the 16th October!
