Get LOUD for kids with hearing loss!

Here at Northshore we have a wonderful TSH outpost program that caters for children with hearing loss. There are 9 children in the program, 1 teacher of the deaf, 4 education assistants/note takers, 1 speech pathologist and one occupational therapist that all work alongside the families, school community and the children.

Hearing loss is the most common condition diagnosed at birth in Australia and New Zealand - and by school age, 1 in 300 children will have permanent hearing loss.

Sadly, half of these children receive no specialist support, but you can help change that.

By getting LOUD and donating to Loud Shirt Day, you’ll be helping fund life-changing early intervention services that help kids learn to hear, speak and thrive.

Your support brings opportunity, connection and a brighter future to children affected by hearing loss.

This October, turn up the volume and please give generously!
