Loud Shirt Day is a nationwide fundraising initiative owned, trademarked and operated by the First Voice Members including Can:Do 4Kids, Townsend House.
The Campaign:
- Loud Shirt Day is an annual nationwide fundraising campaign dedicated to raising vital funds for kids who have hearing loss.
- The campaign is run by First Voice Members in each state. To learn more about the centres involved, please visit www.loudshirtday.com.au
- The official date for Loud Shirt Day is Friday 17 October 2025 but you can get loud at any time during October or the year, just let us know your chosen date.
- Loud Shirt Day is not just limited to a loud shirt, you can get loud in any way you choose that best suits you – an entire outfit, socks, or why not dress up your dog? The opportunities are endless.
- This campaign site is run and operated by Can:Do 4Kids, Townsend House. Can:Do 4Kids is a member of the Can:Do Group.
User Conduct:
By agreeing to these Terms of Fundraising you acknowledge:
- You have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.
- You will not use this campaign site in any way that will or is likely to cause the site to be interrupted or damaged in any way.
- You will be solely responsible for all your activities on this campaign site referred to as loud online community.
- That you are who you say you are and that you do not misrepresent yourself, your identity or your affiliation with any person or organisation.
- You will not seek or source unsolicited donations from strangers for your fundraising page without receiving your Authority to Fundraise letter from Can:Do 4Kids, Townsend House.
- Understand that all fundraising activities must be legal and comply with all Australian Federal and State Laws. You will seek the appropriate permits, permissions and licenses if you are planning to host your own loud event or fundraising activity.
- Your fundraising activity or event is not covered by Can:Do 4Kids, Townsend House insurance. Depending on what and the scale of the activity or event you are holding, you may be required to apply for insurance to cover your event and participants.
- You will not use this site to conduct, display or forward details of any survey, contest, chain letter or use the site for commercial messaging in contradiction to the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
- You will not use any part of the site which you are not authorised to use. This includes but is not limited to scanning networks with the intent to breach security, whether or not the intrusion results in access.
- You will not use or attempt to use this Site for any unlawful, criminal or negligent purpose. This includes but is not limited to, password hacking, defrauding others to gain secure information, harmful or malicious destruction or statements, infringing the intellectual property rights of any person.
- You will not use the Can:Do 4Kids, Townsend House or Loud Shirt Day name, brand or copyright in any unauthorised manner.
- You will bank any offline fundraising or donations, according to our Donation Deposit options, prior to 30 November 2025.
